Things to do prior to Sauna

Health Conditions & Medical Clearance:
Ensure you’re in good health. Avoid saunas if you're feeling unwell, have heart issues, fluctuating blood pressure, or are pregnant—consult your doctor.
Review your medications—some (like antihistamines or vasodilators) can impact your ability to regulate temperature .

 

Hydration:
Drink 2–4 glasses of water, tea, or electrolyte-rich fluids a few hours before, and again immediately before entering.
Avoid alcohol and carbonated or sugary drinks

What to Wear & Bring?

Remove 

all jewelry and electronics (phones, watches, glasses)—they can heat up or damaged. 

Wear

swimwear, cotton shorts/T-shirt

Bring

two towels: one to sit on, one to dry off with.

Use

flip‑flops or sandals to make your walk to the lake more enjoyable.
